Manager of Instructional Design

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote Manager of Instructional Design will oversee a group of Supervisors and Instructional Designers, driving the development of innovative educational programs for K-5 ELA while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring a team of Supervisors and Instructional Designers, including onboarding new hires
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute new digital and print educational experiences
• Using external feedback to enhance products and services, while generating creative solutions through team collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
• 1+ years of management experience with direct reports
• Expertise in instructional design principles and applications in education
• Proficiency in various authoring tools and experience with multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience managing teams that create interactive materials and multimedia for educational purposes
