Manager of Licensing and Credentialing

Job Summary

Leading the licensing, credentialing, and payer enrollment functions, the full-time remote Manager of Licensing and Credentialing will oversee complex workflows, manage a team, and ensure compliance as the organization expands into new states and payer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full provider onboarding and offboarding process, including license pathway determinations and sanction screening
• Support multi-state provider licensing applications and oversee payer enrollment across various payers, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Manage and coach the Licensing and Credentialing team, setting priorities and maintaining process standards for operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience in state provider licensing, credentialing, and payer enrollment workflows
• 2-3+ years of team leadership or management experience in a licensing and credentialing context
• Solid understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including payers and regulatory environments
• Working knowledge of compact licensure pathways (IMLC, PSYPACT, NLC, APRN Compact)
• Familiarity with credentialing/licensing tracking software and CAQH/PECOS
