Job Summary
Leading a team focused on the design and optimization of photonic structures, the full-time Manager of Passive Photonics will oversee the development of passive photonic components and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance photonic systems and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the development of passive photonic components and simulation automation techniques
- Collaborates with device, hardware, and software design teams to advance photonics and quantum optics systems
- Supports foundry tapeouts through design validation, data analysis, and troubleshooting of photonic devices
Required Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Science, or Physics
- 10 years of relevant work or academic research experience in integrated photonics
- 2 years of project and/or people management experience
- Extensive experience with simulation platforms, particularly Lumerical
- Strong fundamentals in electro-magnetic theory and design of photonic devices and circuits
