Manager of Pricing and Underwriting

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Manager of Pricing and Underwriting will manage pricing and underwriting functions, develop pricing recommendations, and lead a team of supervisors and analysts in financial risk analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pricing and underwriting functions for new and renewal business, client pricing requests, and RFP responses
• Lead, coach, and train team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of pricing and risk analysis
• Oversee the development and maintenance of pricing models and evaluate financial risk to support pricing recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Risk Management, or Business
• 4+ years of pricing and/or underwriting experience in pharmacy benefit management or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience, including coaching or mentoring roles
• Experience in the pharmacy benefit management industry is preferred
• Familiarity with financial valuation models and analysis is preferred
