Manager of Quantitative Development

Job Summary

Leading a team of quantitative developers, the full-time Manager of Quantitative Development will actively write production code, develop quantitative models, and ensure high-quality delivery within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quantitative developers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Own the delivery of a portfolio of quantitative models, managing scope, priorities, timelines, and quality assurance
• Develop new quantitative models and enhancements, while setting and enforcing technical standards for the team's codebase

Required qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline, or a B.S. with outstanding experience
• 6-8 years of experience in building and delivering quantitative models using R or Python
• Experience leading technical teams or projects, including formal people management or mentoring
• Deep expertise in time series analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, and advanced optimization techniques
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including familiarity with version control and testing methodologies
