Manager of Sponsored Programs

Job Summary

To enhance sponsored funding levels and optimize research funding, the full-time remote Manager of Sponsored Programs will oversee administrative and financial operations, manage pre and post-award grants, and develop effective policies and methods within the Sponsored Programs division.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre and post-award grants, including developing complex grant budgets and implementing subawards
• Prepare monthly variance reports and assist in the preparation of grant reports for senior management
• Establish and assess internal controls for compliance with university policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of university financial systems and grant e-submission systems
• Experience in managing multiple funding sources and coordinating with principal investigators
• Familiarity with sponsor/agency regulations and funding terms & conditions
