Manager of Sponsored Programs

Job Summary

To oversee the administrative and financial aspects of the Sponsored Programs division, the full-time remote Manager of Sponsored Programs will manage funding proposals, develop policies for maximizing research funding, and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews budget variances and prepares monthly reports for management
• Maintains and manages portfolios for private and government grants and funds
• Serves as a liaison between researchers and funding agencies, providing guidance on financial matters

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in research administration or financial management
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations related to research administration
• Experience with Workday financial systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with faculty and staff
