Manager of Statistical Programming

Job Summary

Responsible for delivering study-level programming deliverables, the full-time remote Manager of Statistical Programming will oversee programming in SAS and R, manage a small team or CRO programmers, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting clinical trials and submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and delivers statistical programming for clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and ad hoc analysis requests
• Tracks programming timelines and manages risks to ensure deliverables align with study schedules
• Creates and validates CDISC-compliant datasets and performs quality checks on programming outputs

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field; MS preferred
• 8+ years of statistical programming experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO, or 6+ years with an MS
• 1-2 years of experience supervising programmers or serving as lead programmer on a study
• Strong SAS skills and working proficiency in R for clinical data manipulation and reporting
• Knowledge of CDISC SDTM and ADaM, ICH guidelines, and GCP; experience with regulatory submissions is a plus
