Manager of Strategic Partnerships

Job Summary

To support Kiva's mission of expanding financial access, the full-time Manager of Strategic Partnerships will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors, develop donor engagement strategies, and collaborate across teams to enhance donor communications in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and cultivate relationships with mid-level and major-tier donors, developing tailored engagement and stewardship plans
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve donor communications and gather impactful stories for proposals and reports
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to create persuasive donor messaging that aligns with Kiva's mission and impact

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or strategic partnerships, particularly with individual donors
• Proven ability to develop donor engagement strategies and facilitate meaningful philanthropic commitments
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds and experience engaging philanthropic advisors
• Strong writing and editing skills to create compelling donor communications and proposals
• Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce to track donor activity and evaluate engagement strategies
