Manager of Total Rewards

Job Summary

Owning the strategy and execution of total rewards programs, the full-time remote Manager of Total Rewards will manage compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance initiatives to align with organizational goals and support employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement compensation, benefits, and payroll strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity analyses to inform compensation structures and incentive programs
• Oversee payroll operations for a remote workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, or total rewards
• Hands-on experience managing payroll operations and multi-state payroll tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, FMLA, and pay transparency regulations
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paylocity and HRIS platforms
• Professional certifications such as CPP, CEBS, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR are a plus
