Managing Director of Assessment

Job Summary

To support the growth of AIR's Assessment & Human Capital initiatives, the full-time Managing Director of Assessment will set strategic direction, advance AI-enabled assessment innovations, and lead business development efforts while working remotely or from various U.S. office locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Set strategic direction and oversee growth, impact, and performance of assessment and human capital projects
• Advance leadership in AI-enabled assessment and measurement through innovative research and development
• Build new business opportunities and market presence while fostering collaboration and operational excellence

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a relevant field with at least 15 years of senior-level experience, or a Master's degree with significant leadership experience
• Proven track record in leading complex projects and managing strategy, financial performance, and project delivery
• Strong knowledge of assessment and measurement, particularly in education and workforce contexts
• Experience with AI applications in education or workforce assessment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to identify market trends and translate them into strategic opportunities
