Managing Editor, Spanish Programs

Job Summary

Passionate about Spanish language education, the full-time Managing Editor, Spanish Programs will lead the editorial vision and execution of Spanish-language products, collaborating with educators and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality instructional resources in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide editorial projects from concept to completion, ensuring content quality and curriculum alignment
• Drive collaboration with Product, Instructional Development, and Marketing teams to balance instructional goals and business needs
• Inspire and coordinate the work of editorial talent, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Second Language Acquisition, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in editorial leadership or managing editor roles
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Deep knowledge of ACTFL World-Readiness Standards and current trends in language education
• Experience in K-12 educational publishing or curriculum development
