Managing Engineer, Software Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the design and architecture of digital products, the full-time Managing Engineer, Software Engineering will work remotely to implement modern tools and technologies, manage application performance, and ensure the success of software products through effective team leadership and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the design, build, and enhancement of software products while promoting engineering best practices
- Manages iteration planning and daily standups, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and backlog stories
- Establishes and maintains continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software or product engineering
- Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x+
- Experience with microservices and event-driven systems, preferably using Kafka
- Understanding of cloud environments including Azure and AWS
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes
