Mandarin Interpreter

Job Summary

To support effective communication, the contracted Mandarin Interpreter will facilitate interpretation between Mandarin and English speakers in a fully remote role, ensuring accuracy and professionalism while managing calls and industry-specific vocabulary.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally, adhering to the interpreter's code of conduct
• Familiarize with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology
• Participate in internal professional training and report to the team leader

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Minimum of 2 years of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication
• Based in the US with a steady wired internet connection
