Manual QA Engineer
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote Manual QA Engineer will analyze business and technical requirements, create and execute test cases, and perform various types of testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing while documenting defects using tools like Jira
- Collaborate with development and product teams during requirement reviews, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing / QA
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience writing comprehensive test cases and scenarios
- Hands-on experience with defect-management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
