Manual QA Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the quality and reliability of pharmacy benefit technology, the full-time Manual QA Engineer will validate claims adjudication logic, benefit configurations, and system functionality while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases covering claims adjudication, pricing, and benefit plan configuration
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact
• Perform regression, functional, and end-to-end testing across releases and configuration changes

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of manual QA testing experience within a PBM, health plan, or pharmacy claims environment
• Hands-on experience testing claims adjudication systems and pharmacy benefit configurations
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims concepts, including NCPDP claim formats and copay structures
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• Solid understanding of the software QA lifecycle, including test planning and execution
