Manual QA Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure accuracy and compliance in claims processing, the remote Manual QA Engineer will validate claims adjudication logic and system behavior across the PBM platform while designing and executing manual test cases in a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for claims adjudication and benefit plan configuration
• Validate claim outcomes against expected adjudication logic and perform regression and functional testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and document defects with detailed reports

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of manual QA testing experience in a PBM or pharmacy claims environment
• Hands-on experience with claims adjudication systems and pharmacy benefit configurations
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims concepts, including NCPDP claim formats and copay logic
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
• Solid understanding of the software QA lifecycle, including test planning and execution
