Job Summary
Providing technical support for day-to-day production activities, the full-time Manufacturing Engineer will focus on extrusion process support, collaborate with various teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing of custom plastic components for medical devices.
Key responsibilities
- Provides process support for the extrusion department and resolves manufacturing issues
- Collaborates with production, product development, and quality teams on continuous improvement and complaint resolution
- Manages multiple technically oriented projects, assisting with design for manufacturability and process validation
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma with applicable experience; Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Plastics Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of extrusion process development experience
- 5+ years of work related to polymer processing preferred
- Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and extrusion tooling design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
