Job Summary
To support the production and development of advanced transducer technologies, the full-time Manufacturing Engineer - Transducer in Cromwell, Connecticut will manage design support, assembly, and testing of prototype transducers while continuously improving manufacturing processes and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the initial design support, assembly, and testing of prototype transducers, ensuring successful transition to production
- Develop and enhance production procedures, practices, and documentation to improve efficiency and quality
- Prioritize safety and perform additional duties as assigned in a dynamic production environment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline
- Proven knowledge of engineering science and technology, particularly in NDT UT transducers
- Experience with design techniques and tools for creating precision technical plans and models
- Hands-on initiative with the ability to train and audit others' work
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus
