Job Summary
To support the development and production of advanced transducer technologies, the full-time Manufacturing Engineer - Transducer in Cromwell, Connecticut will manage design support, assembly, and testing of prototype transducers while improving manufacturing processes and ensuring product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support for transducer production and development projects
- Develop new and improved production procedures, practices, and documentation
- Ensure safety protocols are prioritized during all engineering tasks
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
- Proven knowledge of engineering science and technology applicable to NDT UT transducers
- Experience with design techniques and tools for creating technical plans and models
- Hands-on initiative and capability to train and audit others' work
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus
