Job Summary
To support the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health, the part-time Maryland Licensed Breast Imaging Radiologist will provide expert consulting services, focusing on medical device reviews, coordinating stakeholder meetings, and developing written documentation in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation related to medical device reviews and regulatory responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and participate in discussions regarding medical device applications
- Conduct research, perform data analysis, and write detailed documents and reports for CDRH projects
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited medical school in the U.S
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S
- At least seven years of relevant clinical experience in breast imaging
- Fellowship or equivalent training in breast imaging and certification from a relevant U.S. specialty board organization
- Thorough understanding of clinical practices in radiology and proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging
