Job Summary
To support a growing medical practice, the full-time Maryland Licensed Clinical Associate will perform clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory care setting, including documenting medical histories, assisting with patient exams, and providing clerical support, while working remotely during day and evening shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Documents clinically related activities in the patient's medical record and provides telephone screening services
- Assists providers with patient preparation, minor office procedures, and education while managing patient flow
- Participates in population management activities and conducts screenings for preventative care needs and behavioral health concerns
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Less than 1 year of customer service experience or prior experience in a healthcare organization required
- CNA or EMT certification required upon hire for specific locations
- CPR certification for healthcare providers required within 90 days
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
