Job Summary
Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Maryland Licensed Clinical Pharmacy Technician will manage patient interactions requiring clinical intervention, collaborate with healthcare teams, and participate in outpatient pharmacy operations.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to relay and obtain pertinent information
- Collaborate with the Prior Authorization team and Patient Assistance Program Specialists to support patient needs
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide on-call services as required
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy required upon hire
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by NHA or PTCB
- Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Specialized, assessment-based Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificate required
