Job Summary

To optimize revenue enhancement, the full-time Maryland Licensed Coder will coordinate daily billing activities and collaborate with the Professional Billing Office, physicians, and third-party payers, working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors daily revenue cycle activities to optimize reimbursement opportunities
• Verifies benefit coverage to determine patient financial liability and investigates patient billing issues
• Performs coding functions, including charge entry and ensuring accuracy of code linkage diagnosis to procedure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• CCS-P or CPC certification required
