Job Summary
To lead denial prevention and recovery operations, the full-time Maryland Licensed Director of Denial Management will manage strategic initiatives related to clinical and technical denials and appeals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with leadership to identify denial mitigation opportunities and improve reimbursement processes
- Oversees appeals for the system and manages relationships with appeal vendors
- Develops analytics and dashboards to standardize denial summaries and supports operational improvements across the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- 5-7 years of Revenue Cycle experience, including appeals and financial clearance
- Leadership experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on revenue cycle preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
