Maryland Licensed Insurance Product Director

Job Summary

Serving as a senior technical authority, the full-time Maryland Licensed Insurance Product Director will manage Oxford's Commercial Auto, Commercial General Liability, and Excess Liability product framework remotely, overseeing the product lifecycle from design to implementation while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Owns and manages the product framework, including coverage forms, endorsements, and underwriting rules
• Serves as the primary technical resource for complex coverage interpretation and regulatory compliance
• Leads the review and implementation of ISO programs and develops product governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of relevant Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience
• Substantial experience with Commercial Auto, Commercial General Liability, and Excess Liability coverage forms
• Deep technical knowledge of ISO products and processes
• Experience preparing or managing form, rate, and rule filings with state Departments of Insurance
• Strong knowledge of admitted, non-admitted, and surplus lines markets and their regulatory requirements
