Maryland Licensed Interim Controller
Job Summary
To support a multi-entity finance organization, the Maryland Licensed Interim Controller will manage the monthly close process, oversee audit coordination, and prepare financial statements in a remote capacity, initially part-time and transitioning to full-time from January to March 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly multi-entity close, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting
- Coordinate the accounting team's close work and review journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit coordination and prepare financial statements for management and board review
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity close processes and intercompany accounting
- Expert-level hands-on experience with NetSuite for financial reporting and close activities
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with year-end close and audit coordination
- Advanced Excel skills for maintaining and reconciling accounting schedules
- Availability for part-time work in November and December, transitioning to full-time in January
