Maryland Licensed Nurse Auditor
Job Summary
To ensure accurate charge capture and compliance, the full-time Maryland Licensed Nurse Auditor will conduct clinical and revenue integrity audits, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support organizational goals in a primarily remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct clinical, revenue integrity, and compliance audits for inpatient and outpatient services
- Collaborate with various departments to identify compliance risks and improve charging practices
- Support audit readiness and optimize reimbursement while maintaining regulatory compliance
Required qualifications
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain it
- Nursing degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in Revenue Integrity, Clinical Auditing, or Healthcare Compliance preferred
- Experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), HIM/Coding, or Hospital Billing and Reimbursement is a plus
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification
