Job Summary
As the first-ever Maryland Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, this part-time remote role will manage the integration of medication management with therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients, developing clinical protocols and providing direct client care while ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
Key responsibilities
- Develop clinical protocols, SOPs, and workflows for medication management before seeing clients
- Prescribe medications in alignment with identity-affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
Required qualifications
- Active DEA registration with full practice authority in Maryland
- Experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and a strong passion for this community
- Sound knowledge of prescribing and adjusting medications across various clinical indications
- Experience building psychiatric SOPs from the ground up
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, telehealth setting
