Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Maryland Licensed Title Examiner will perform title examinations and analyze property records to determine ownership and legal conditions for residential properties.
Key responsibilities
- Performs title examination and analyzes the chain of title for a wide range of title orders
- Abstracts and reviews records to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and verify property descriptions
- Prepares initial title commitment documentation and resolves issues related to title documentation
Required qualifications

- 2 years of title examination experience, specifically in Maryland
- State license(s) if required
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills
