Job Summary
Seeking compassionate individuals, the part-time Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will provide emotional support and crisis intervention by answering calls from individuals in distress, working remotely Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM ET.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming crisis and emotional support calls from individuals in need
- Provide compassionate, non-judgmental listening and emotional support
- Accurately document call interactions in the organization's call management system
Required qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Massachusetts resident required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software platforms
