Job Summary
Seeking compassionate individuals, the part-time Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will provide emotional support and crisis intervention to callers in distress, working remotely Thursday through Sunday from 3 PM to 7 PM ET.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming crisis and emotional support calls from individuals in need
- Provide compassionate, non-judgmental listening and emotional support while assessing caller needs
- Document call interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Required qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a Massachusetts resident
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate during difficult conversations
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software platforms
