Job Summary
Seeking compassionate individuals, the part-time Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will provide emotional support and crisis intervention by answering calls from individuals in distress during overnight shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 11 PM to 5 AM ET, in a remote capacity for Massachusetts residents only.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming crisis and emotional support calls, providing compassionate listening and support
- Assess caller needs and adhere to established crisis intervention protocols
- Document call interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Required qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a resident of Massachusetts
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate during difficult conversations
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software platforms
