Massachusetts Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting the People team and key stakeholders, the full-time remote Employment and Compliance Counsel will provide legal advice on global employment law issues, prepare employment-related agreements, and manage internal investigations related to employee misconduct and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on a broad spectrum of global employment law issues, including employee relations and compliance
• Prepare and negotiate various employment-related agreements, such as employment and severance agreements
• Support and manage internal investigations into employee misconduct and violations of laws or policies

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with 4-6 years of experience from a top-tier law firm or company in the SaaS, data services, or technology industries
• Member of a U.S. state bar in good standing
• Expertise in U.S. and global employment law matters with a pragmatic advisory approach
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Judgment to anticipate and mitigate risk while managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
