Job Summary
To support a busy Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery Team, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed APP for Bariatrics will manage pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic interventions, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and providing both in-person and telehealth visits.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial bariatric surgery consultations and coordinate preoperative optimization
- Manage patients throughout the bariatric surgery continuum, including treatment of obesity-related comorbidities
- Participate in patient education and support groups, ensuring comprehensive care delivery
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master's in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
- Current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Board Certification, DEA, and MCSR are required
