Massachusetts Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the remote Massachusetts Licensed Associate Senior Counsel will manage a caseload of moderate to high complexity litigation matters, mentor less experienced attorneys, and deliver exceptional client service across various locations in Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently handle litigation from inception through trial and appeal for claims against policyholders or the company
• Deliver optimal results for insured customers by utilizing legal expertise and proactive case handling
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced attorneys within the legal team

Required qualifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts
• Experience in handling moderate to high complexity litigation matters
• Strong understanding of insurance law and claims processes
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
• Experience in mentoring or training junior attorneys is preferred
