Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Auto Appraiser will inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine the actual cash value of total loss vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely claim settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage through virtual or on-site inspections at body shops or customer locations
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and negotiate settlements with stakeholders
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claim process, keeping vehicle owners informed and addressing their inquiries

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One year of auto physical damage appraisal or comparable claim-related experience
• Active adjuster license, where applicable
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software
• Basic understanding of insurance principles and state regulations
