Massachusetts Licensed Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Massachusetts Licensed Data Engineer, the successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics models and applications to enhance financial planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities, while collaborating with finance stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build forecasting and budgeting applications using Planning Analytics and develop TM1 cubes, dimensions, and processes
• Provide operational support for critical data pipelines and oversee TM1 security configurations and server performance
• Mentor team members and collaborate with actuarial teams to translate complex business rules into automated TM1 system logic

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of data engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years as an IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics Developer
• Strong proficiency with TurboIntegrator scripting, MDX, and advanced Excel skills including VBA
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google
• Preferred background in healthcare budgeting and forecasting
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Math, Information Systems, or a related field
