Job Summary
Offering a part-time opportunity, the Massachusetts Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services to pet families in Braintree, Dedham, and Norwood, while enjoying professional autonomy and a flexible schedule without non-compete agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services
- Independently travel to scheduled appointments and perform veterinary services in a mobile care environment
- Educate pet families on quality-of-life decisions and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or equivalent veterinary medical degree
- Active veterinary license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Experience in end-of-life conversations and compassionate care
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
