Seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Hospice Veterinarian, this part-time opportunity allows for a flexible self-managed schedule while providing compassionate in-home end-of-life care and euthanasia for pets in the Plymouth, New Bedford, and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pets and their families, ensuring a dignified and peaceful experience
- Manage a limited number of appointments per day, allowing for meaningful interactions and support for grieving families
- Participate in ongoing training and mentorship while practicing independently in a mobile setting
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review
