Job Summary
Offering a flexible schedule, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide compassionate end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia for pets, focusing on meaningful interactions with families in the Salem and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia services to pets and their families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload with 2 to 5 appointments per day, ensuring quality time with each client
- Collaborate with a supportive team while practicing independently on the road
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review
- Flexibility to choose weekend workdays that fit personal schedules
