Job Summary
Offering a unique opportunity for a Massachusetts Licensed Hospice Veterinarian, the part-time position allows for flexible scheduling while providing compassionate end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia to pets in the Boston area.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families
- Manage a self-directed schedule with a limited number of appointments each day
- Support grieving families by answering questions and facilitating meaningful goodbyes
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts, choosing 4 days per month that fit personal schedules
