Job Summary
Providing critical hotline support for opioid dependence, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator will manage incoming calls, engage with callers using a harm reduction framework, and assist individuals in accessing treatment and resources remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consistent and supportive crisis intervention and accurate referral services for callers
- Coordinate various Office-based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) Program activities and manage data collection for reporting purposes
- Assist clients in linking to addiction services and triage walk-in patients seeking opioid treatment
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree (or equivalent) plus 1 year of related experience; Bachelor's degree desirable
- Preferred experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting
- Knowledge of addiction through formal training or experience is preferred
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft programs and basic data management tasks
- Bilingual or multi-lingual skills appropriate to the patient population served are preferred
