Massachusetts Licensed Intake Therapist

Job Summary

As the first point of contact for potential clients, the remote Massachusetts Licensed Intake Therapist will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and facilitate their transition into appropriate treatment levels while collaborating with the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and readiness for treatment
• Communicate program expectations and treatment options clearly and compassionately to clients and their families
• Collaborate with the clinical treatment team to support individualized care planning and address potential barriers to treatment engagement

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
• Valid state Independent licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in Massachusetts
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling
• Ability to provide clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians if eligible based on licensure status
