Massachusetts Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting customer-facing commercial transactions, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Legal Counsel will draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of agreements, including SaaS and data protection agreements, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer-facing commercial agreements and provide legal guidance on contract positions
• Manage a high-volume contracting queue, ensuring quality and timely delivery while prioritizing based on risk and business impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve contract issues and support efficient deal closure

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly SaaS agreements
• Direct experience with privacy, data protection, or AI-related contracting issues
• Strong business judgment and ability to align legal guidance with company objectives
• Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and electronic signature tools
