Massachusetts Licensed Medical Assistant
Job Summary
To support clinical operations remotely, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Medical Assistant will provide patient care, perform clerical duties, and assist healthcare providers with various medical procedures during the day shift.
Key responsibilities:
- Escort patients, record vital signs, and document health status and history
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and administer non-intravenous injections as directed
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures while maintaining medical records and inventory of supplies
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Saver (HS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Medical Assistant credential approved by the Massachusetts Department of Health (ARMA, NHA, etc.)
