Massachusetts Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support the advancement of clinical pipelines, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Medical Director will collaborate with senior medical staff and cross-functional teams to drive clinical strategy, oversee trial design and execution, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, while working in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with drug discovery teams and clinical operations to design and execute early clinical development plans
• Write clinical sections of key documents and manage responses to regulatory authorities and ethics committees
• Provide expert medical review of clinical data and manage drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities for ongoing trials

Required qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or other advanced degree with 5+ years of clinical development experience, preferably in oncology
• Experience with solid tumors, particularly breast oncology, is preferred
• Exposure to clinical trial design, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans
• Familiarity with working closely with investigative sites and clinical trial personnel
• Dynamic team player with effective communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment
