Job Summary
To support efficient patient care, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Patient Access Representative will manage registration and appointment scheduling, ensure data integrity in the hospital's information system, and provide outstanding customer service while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Register and schedule patient appointments while ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information
- Deliver exceptional customer service by handling a high volume of incoming calls and addressing patient inquiries
- Collaborate with medical office staff to facilitate a positive patient experience and resolve registration-related issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience as a Patient Access Coordinator
- Proficiency in using Epic or similar hospital information systems
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
