Massachusetts Licensed Pediatric Nurse
Job Summary
To support pediatric care delivery, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Pediatric Nurse will manage patient care through telephone triage, medication administration, and chronic disease management while working remotely for 20 hours weekly with weekend and holiday rotations.
Key responsibilities
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing education and managing care transitions
- Deliver patient care in alignment with RN protocols and conduct clinical procedures during patient visits
- Support the clinical team with care coordination and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical information and develop and implement care plans
