Job Summary
To support patient engagement and medication management, the part-time contract-to-permanent Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Coordinator will conduct high-volume telephonic outreach to patients, facilitate enrollment in a specialized pharmacy program, and document interactions within the electronic health record while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound telephone outreach to introduce pharmacy services and guide patients through enrollment
- Obtain and document patient consent, updating the electronic health record with necessary changes based on patient decisions
- Manage outreach queues and follow-up cadences while meeting call center performance expectations
Required qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Experience in a telephonic, call-center, or high-volume outbound patient outreach environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and engage patients over the phone
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or patient support roles
- Proficiency in working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) for documentation and updates
